Is it really free?
Yes. Sharing an idea, voting and the winning build are all free. We make our money from people who want their own website without waiting for a vote, from £12 a month.
How is the winner chosen?
The idea with the most votes when voting closes on Sunday at 8pm UK time wins, as long as it is legal, safe and something we can build. If it isn’t, the next idea in line wins. The full details are in the rules.
What does the winner get?
We plan a first version with you, then design, build and launch it on the web, free. We cover the domain name and hosting for the first year, and you’re credited as the person behind the idea.
What kind of ideas can I share?
Anything that can live on the web: a website, a web app, a handy tool, a directory, a booking page or a community. Big ideas are welcome too. We turn the winner into a focused first version we can launch quickly.
Can I share an idea on TikTok instead?
Yes. Comment your idea on one of our TikTok videos. We add the most-liked comments to the weekly board, credited to you, and every like on your comment counts as a vote.
Can I vote for my own idea?
Yes. Everyone gets one vote per idea, and you can vote for as many different ideas as you like. The best way to win is to share your idea with the people it would help.
Could someone copy my idea?
Ideas on the board are public, so please don’t share anything secret. If you’d rather keep it private, skip the vote and get your own website built instead.
